16 ounces plain yogurt
1/2 small cucumber, grated
one small onion, peeled and grated
2 teaspoons mint
salt, to taste
1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Cooking Instructions

Beat yogurt well until smooth.

If yogurt is too thick, add a bit of water while beating.

If fresh mint is used, it should be finely chopped.

Add mint, grated onion and cucumber, salt and pepper to yogurt and mix well.

Leave in the refrigerator for two hours, then serve.

The way I used to make mine is a little different. I used sour cream instead of yogurt. I also added black pepper and garlic. It tasted really good. Left by: Abdu (8 Apr 2016)
